9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. ‘A Mourning Walk’ – a fundraiser for Stephy’s Place

A Mourning Walk, a fundraiser for Stephy’s Place, will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Seven Presidents Park in Long Branch. The 3-mile walk will be a fundraiser and a reflective time to remember loved ones lost. It will be held on the three-year anniversary of Stephy’s Place’s opening.

Stephy’s Place was founded by members of a September 11th support group who wanted to recreate the loving, supportive environment that once helped them to support others coping with grief.
Stephy’s Place serves more than 200 people weekly in facilitator-led groups for those dealing with loss of a child, a sibling, a spouse, a parent, and other losses. All sessions at Stephy’s Place are free to users, due to the support of its donors.
