9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Ceremony of Remembrance – Amherst, NY

The Town of Amherst will hold its annual 9/11 Ceremony of Remembrance at 9:30am on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Amherst Memorial Hill Grove, a living memorial to those killed in the terror attacks.
The program will include the reading of the names of local 9/11 victims, and the presentation of colors by the Amherst Police Department honor guard. The 30-minute ceremony will be held rain or shine.
Some seating will be available, but participants are invited to bring lawn chairs.
The Amherst Memorial Hill Grove is seven-tenths of a mile from the Trailway’s North Forest Road entrance, between West Klein and Maple Roads.
