9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Ceremony – Cresskill, NJ
September 10, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
There will be a 9/11 ceremony at 6:30pm on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Sgt. John Coughlin Memorial Field, honoring 9/11 victim NYPD Sgt. John Coughlin, and John Cortazzo, a Port Authority police officer who responded to the attacks, worked during the recovery and who later died at 48 of World Trade Center-related myelodysplastic syndrome, a rare bone marrow disease.
George Coughlin, Sgt. Coughlin’s brother, will speak, and the high school marching band will play Taps.
In case of inclement weather, it will be held at the Community Center near the field.
