9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Humboldt FD 5-K – Eureka, CA

Humboldt Bay Fire Department in California will hold a 5-K run beginning at 9:00am on Saturday, September 14, 2019 to honor the 343 FDNY firefighters killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The run will start at the HBF Hilfiker training grounds, end by climbing the Humboldt Bay training tower.
After the run, there will be a certificate presentation from the Honor Guard. Runners will receive a custom “never forget” 9/11 sticker.
The cost to participate is $20.00 for general admission and $10.00 for current or veteran military, law enforcement, fire, and EMS. Pre-register at the booth at the Friday Night Market on Friday, September 13, 2019, or register on-site on race day starting at 8:30am. All proceeds raised by the run will be donated to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
