9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Remembrance ceremony – Washington, PA

The public is encouraged to attend the remembrance ceremony at 8:45am on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the memorial in the Washington Mall parking lot. The Memorial is located behind the flagpole.
The marble memorial honoring the 2,973 people murdered in the terrorist attacks is back in place for this year’s ceremony. The 10-foot monument was blown over and broken during a wind storm on June 18, 2013.
Police officers attending in uniform are asked to arrive by 8:15am.
