9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Jeff Coombs Memorial Road Race, Walk and Family Day

The 14th annual Jeff Coombs Memorial Road Race, Walk and Family Day will take place at 9:00am on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Woodsdale School in Abington, MA.

This year’s race will be dedicated to Sgt. Danny Vasselian, USMC, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on December 23, 2013.

The day will include the 5-K Walk/Run, kids’ activities, raffles, prizes, a DJ, clowns and free food. Attendees this year are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Food Pantry.

The registration fee for adults is $25.00 before September 1, 2014; $30.00 after September 1, 2014. Students 13-18 pay $20.00 before September 1, 2014; $23.00 after September 1, 2014. Children 12 and under pay $10.00 before September 1, 2014; $12.00 after September 1, 2014.  All proceeds benefit the Jeffrey Coombs Memorial Foundation. To download a registration form, please click here. Jeff Coombs was a devoted dad and husband who loved the outdoors and was an expert in both finance and computers. He was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 aboard American Flight 11. He would have turned 43 on September 18, 2001.
