9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 10-13 Benefit for NYPD Sergeant Rich Lenihan (ret.) — Pearl River, NY

Retired NYPD Sergeant Richard Joseph Lenihan, Jr. died on April 9, 2020 of COVID-19 at the age of 55. He was a 20-year veteran of the NYPD, who responded to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

His colleagues are holding a benefit for his family, including his two children who are beginning college, on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Pearl River Elks Lodge.

Tickets cost $100.00 per person, which includes live music, light fare, beer, wine, and soda. There will be raffles, a 50/50, and auctions as well.
