Peter C. Alderman, 25, worked for Bloomberg to support his love of travel. He was attending a meeting atop the World Trade Center’s north tower on September 11, 2001 when he was killed when the terrorists attacked the building. The foundation in his name is now run by HealthRight International and assists survivors of terrorism and mass violence by training indigenous health workers and establishing trauma treatment systems in post-conflict countries around the world.
