9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Wake for Charles E. Kaczorowski, NYC DDC

Charles E. Kaczorowski, better known as “Charlie K,” died of World Trade Center-related illness on March 22, 2022.
He escaped death in the towers during the attacks of September 11th by a delayed subway. He worked the entire recovery effort with New York City’s Department of Design and Construction, the agency that oversaw the recovery.
A Vietnam veteran, Charlie suffered from exposure to Agent Orange before being exposed to World Trade Center toxins.
The wake will be held at the Barnes-Sorrentino Funeral Home in West Hempstead, NY on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
His funeral Mass will be said at 10:00am on Monday, March 28, 2022 at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in West Hempstead.
Burial will follow the funeral at Calverton National Cemetery, in Calverton, NY.
