Wake and funeral for retired FDNY FF Rudolf “Rudy” Dent — Goodyear, AZ

Retired FDNY FF Rudolf “Rudy” Dent, 75, retired member of L-33, died on Saturday night due to World Trade Center-related illness. He served the FDNY for 26 years, including his response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
He also served as a NYPD officer for 4 years, and was a Vietnam veteran.
His wake will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 1:30pm until 2:30pm, at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, AZ, immediately followed by a funeral service at 2:30pm, also at the chapel.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10:30am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
