9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Connecticut’s 9/11 Memorial Ceremony – Westport, CT

The State of Connecticut’s annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony, honoring and celebrating the lives of those killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 5:00pm, at the 9/11 Memorial in Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.
Names of the 161 victims with ties to Connecticut will be read aloud.
This ceremony is traditionally held before the anniversary to permit local families to attend both the Connecticut ceremony and the New York City observance.
