9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 5:00pm until 6:30pm, the Flight 93 National Museum will present A Monumental Task: The Military and Civilian Air Response on September 11, 2001, as part of their Witness to History series. Air traffic controller Richard Kettell, retired Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Nasypany of the Northeast Air Defense Sector and Benedict Sliney of the FAA will share their stories.
The event will take place in the Memorial’s Visitor Center Complex.
