9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Lakeland Field Dedication in Memory of retired NYPD Detective Mike Houlahan

At 11:30am on Saturday, June 19, 2021, the Administrative Baseball/Softball Field in Shrub Oak, NY will be renamed for retired NYPD Detective Michael A. Houlahan, 59, a long-time coach who died of World Trade Center-related colon cancer in March 2020.
Detective Houlahan served the New York City Police Department from 1985 until 2005, with several years in the Manhattan South Task Force.
