9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for FDNY Captain Frank A. Portelle, E-50

FDNY Captain Frank A. Portelle, E-50, died of World Trade Center-related glioblastoma on March 13, 2021, after a 24-year career in the FDNY.
His wake will be private.
His funeral Mass will be said at 10:00am on Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Church in Nanuet, NY. Social distancing will be observed and masks must be worn.
Private burial will follow the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the Portelle family asks that donations in memory of Captain Portelle be made to any of the Glioblastoma Foundation, the NY Firefighters’ Burn Center Foundation, or the FDNY Foundation.
