9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for active-duty FDNY FF Carmine Joseph Barresi

Active-duty FDNY Firefighter Carmine Barresi, 35, was killed last week in a snowmobiling accident upstate.
His wake will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm and again from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Farenga Brothers Funeral Home in the Bronx. With health and NY COVID regulations in mind, the number of funeral home visitors is limited. Mourners must prepare to wait outside the building. Visitors must practice social distancing and wear masks.
His Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church in the Bronx at 11:00am on Thursday, March 4, 2021. Please understand that seats at the funeral Mass cannot be guaranteed, and you should be prepared to observe from a distance.
Interment will follow in Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY
