9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired FDNY Firefighter and September 11th family member James “Jimmy” Boyle

Beloved retired FDNY Firefighter and September 11th family member James Boyle died on October 27, 2019 at the age of 80. He served as President of the UFA, the firefighters’ union, and suffered minor injuries when the North Tower fell on September 11, 2001. His firefighter son, Michael, 37, did not survive the building’s collapse.
His wake will be held at the Dalton Funeral Home in Williston Park, NY on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
His funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Westbury, NY.
Internment will immediately follow the Mass at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood.
In lieu of flowers, in Jimmy’s memory, donations may be made to either the FDNY Fire Transport Foundation or Blue Sky Project Films (addresses below).
