Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Honor Lizz Wainio Memorial Fundraiser – Baltimore, MD

Honor Elizabeth “Lizz” Wainio was one of the brave passengers aboard United Flight 93 who fought back against the hijackers who killed them in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. She was 27. She had majored in communications at Towson University and loved the school. Since 2005, nearly $100,000 has been awarded to students through the Honor Elizabeth Wainio ’95 Memorial Communications Scholarship.
Tickets cost $50.00 and include an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction.
