9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Raffle Drawing for Vehicle Honoring Captain John Vigiano, FDNY (ret.) for FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation

A fundraising raffle will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019, for the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation to buy a vehicle honoring FDNY Captain, retired U.S. Marine, and September 11th family member John Vigiano, L-179, L-103, Rescue 2, USMC.
The raffle will fund a vehicle honoring Captain Vigiano for the foundation, which drives sick firefighters to medical appointments and drives families of sick and injured firefighters to hospitals and funerals.
Captain Vigiano, who lost both of his children in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and was one of the “Band of Dads” who searched the rubble of the World Trade Center together, died of site-related cancer in July of 2018.
Only 1,500 raffle tickets will be sold at a cost of $50.00 per ticket.
First prize will be $20,000. Second prize, $10,000. Third prize, $5,000. Fourth prize, a pair of Jet Blue tickets.
The drawing will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Deer Park Fire Department.
