9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Paramedic John Philip Balem, St. Vincent’s Hospital

John Philip Balem, 67, died of World Trade Center-related illness on June 5, 2019.
He was a paramedic for many years and worked for St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan. He responded to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
His funeral Mass will be said at 9:30am on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at St. Augustine R. C. Church in Ossining.
