9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Retired NYPD Detective Albert Sheppard – Sevierville, TN

Retired NYPD Detective Albert Sheppard, 69, died on May 14, 2019. He was one of the NYPD’s most decorated detectives, working with the Major Case Squad, Emergency Service Unit, Mounted Police and Runaway Squad. He worked the recovery effort after the attacks.
He was also a volunteer firefighter, and a veteran.
His memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00pm at Eden United Methodist Church in Sevierville, Tennessee. A committal service will follow in Eden Cemetery with the American Legion Post #104 to provide military honors.
