9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The James A. Greenleaf, Jr. Foundation will host their 18th annual 5-K River Run for the Fund on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 9:00am at Ocean Beach Park in New London, CT. Race-day registration will begin at 7:30 in the Nautilus Room.
The 5-K honors James A. Greenleaf, Jr., 32, a foreign currency trader with Carr Futures who was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. A talented athlete and marathon runner, he was the “glue” that held his large group of friends together.
Registration costs $30.00 online before May 1, 2019; and $35.00 thereafter. To register, please click here. Monies raised by the event will benefit James A. Greenleaf, Jr. Memorial Scholarship recipients attending their freshman year at Saint Bernard’s School.
