9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake & Memorial Service for NYPD Officer Kevin “Birdie” Joyce (ret.), 52 Precinct

Kevin “Birdie” Joyce of the NYPD’s 52 Precinct died on March 9, 2019 of World Trade Center-related illness.
Kevin joined the New York City Police Department in 1987 and retired in May 2007.
His wake will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 10:00am to 12:00pm and from 4:00pm to 6:45pm at Compassionate Funeral Care in Saratoga Springs, NY, with a memorial service immediately following at the funeral home (7:00pm).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
