9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Plaque Ceremony for FDNY Deputy Chief Michael J. Fahy, Battalion 19

At 11:00am on Thursday, September 27, 2018, a line-of-duty-death plaque dedication ceremony will be held in the quarters of Engine 75/Ladder 33/Battalion 19 to honor the memory of Deputy Chief Michael J. Fahy of Battalion 19.
Chief Fahy, 44, was killed in the line of duty on September 27, 2016 while responding to a fire at an illegal drug lab that exploded shortly after he arrived on the scene. Chief Fahy was a rising star of the FDNY.
He also worked at the site of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
