9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for NYPD Detective Thomas “Tommy” Barnett

NYPD Detective Thomas “Tommy” Barnett died on June 11, 2018 at the age of 55.
Detective Barnett joined the NYPD in 1985. He worked the recovery effort after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and retired in 2005. He then worked in Africa, Afghanistan and Iraq with security forces.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:00am at St. Aedan’s Church in Pearl River.
