9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. P.O. Mark J. Ellis Memorial Walk

The ninth annual Mark J. Ellis Memorial Walk will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Farmingdale State College.
Registration will begin at 9:00am at the Campus Center. The walk starts from the Campus Center at 10:00am, continues around the campus, and ends back at the Campus Center for a moment of silence and light refreshments.
The Walk honors NYPD Officer Mark Ellis, 26, a 1997 graduate of Farmingdale State College who was killed by terrorists while responding to the attacks of September 11, 2001. Proceeds from the walk are used to fund a scholarship in Mark’s name to assist a student in the Criminal Justice program.
