The Bipartisan Policy Center will hold a panel discussion entitled Digital Counterterrorism: Fighting Jihadists Online on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 10:00am until 11:30am at the Bipartisan Policy Center.
Panelists will include Joshua Geltzer, formerly Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council; and Seamus Hughes of the Program on Extremism at George Washington University. More panelists will be announced nearer time. The discussion will center on policy approaches to terrorists’ use of social media and encrypted communications.
The keynote address will be spoken by Robert L. Strayer, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cyber and International Communications and Information Policy at the U.S. State Department.
