9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FDNY EMS Lt. Edith Torres has died of 9/11 related cancer. She was 46.
Her viewing will be held on from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Ferenga & Sons Funeral Home in Astoria.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Monday, February 13, 2017, at St. Rita’s Church in Queens.
