Mike’s Fight — a fundraiser for FF Michael Leamy
April 10, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Mike’s Fight, a fundraiser for retired FDNY fireman Mike Leamy, will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, at the Plattduetsche Park Biergarten in Franklin Square.
Tickets cost $20.00 for adults and children’s tickets are free. Ticket fee includes live music, food and children’s activities. There will also be raffles and a 50/50.
Mike fell and suffered a spinal cord injury last year, which has left him a quadriplegic. Michael has been in the hospital since February, 2015. Mike is a Navy veteran who worked the recovery effort after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
In order for him to safely return home, renovations need to be made to his home.
If you cannot attend, donations can be sent to the Michael J. Leamy Trust, 304 Madison Street, Franklin Square, NY 11010.
