9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. September 11th commemoration – Scranton, PA

The 9/11 Memorial Committee of Lackawanna County will hold its annual commemoration of the terror attacks of 2001 on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 8:00am at the September 11th Memorial in McDade Park in Scranton.
The ceremony is open to the public.
The Northeast Detachment Marine Corps League will provide a firing salute and Taps. There will also be a bell ceremony to honor all those murdered in the attacks.
Names of soldiers killed in the war will be read and the soldiers’ families are invited to attend.
