9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. NYPD WTC deadline to file a Notice of Participation with the Police Pension Fund Extended

The deadline for members of the NYPD to file a Notice of Participation with the Police Pension Fund has been extended to September 11, 2015. Active and retired NYPD officers who participated in the rescue, recovery and clean-up efforts but did not file the notice before the original 2010 deadline will now be able to do so in order to protect their presumptive eligibility for accident disability pension benefits.
