9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Peter Phieffer, NYPD

Police Officer Peter J. Phieffer of the NYPD died of World Trade Center-related liver disease on June 9, 2014, days after his 54th birthday.
His Memorial Mass will be held at St. Gertrude RC Church on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be to made to the Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation at Columbia University Medical Center.
