9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Deadline to apply for 2014 FF Thomas J. Foley Memorial Scholarship

The Firefighter Thomas J. Foley Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2001 as a tribute to an American hero who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. The program is intended to provide a lasting legacy to the life of Firefighter Thomas J. Foley by assisting the children of fellow FDNY firefighters in meeting the expenses of post-secondary educational costs.
College scholarships offered for students enrolling in an accredited two- or four-year college or university within the continental United States. Applicant must be the dependent child of an active or retired firefighter or fire officer, whose parent or legal guardian has a minimum of one full year of service at the time of application. Applicant must be a high school graduate planning to enter college this fall.
