The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation are co-sponsoring a Lt. Dan Band benefit concert on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 7:00pm to raise funds to build US Navy EOD Taylor Morris a “smart home” to accommodate his injuries.
Cedar Falls resident Morris, a U.S. Navy explosive ordnance disposal expert, lost both legs, his right hand and most of his left arm in May 2012 while serving in Afghanistan.
Tickets for the concert at GatewayPark in Cedar Falls cost $25.00 and $35.00. Special VIP tickets cost $100.00. Tickets are available for purchase by calling 800-293-5949, visiting www.operationtaylor.com or at the College Square or University Avenue Hy-Vee stores.
FF Stephen Siller gave his life in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center. The Foundation in his name, among other services, provides quadruple amputee veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan with smart homes.
