Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wethersfield, CT has lit Christmas Eve luminarias for 39 years. Again this year, the Keane Foundation is selling luminaria kits to make it easy to participate in this beautiful tradition. There will be a bone marrow drive for Owen Hogan at Friends of Firefighters on Friday, November 22, 2013,  from 800am-5:00pm. 2-year-old Owen Hogan, son of FDNY firefighter Tim Hogan of Engine 216, has aplastic anemia, a bone marrow disorder in which bone marrow stops producing blood cells.
