John P. McKee, 49, former deputy chief of public safety for CUNY, who spent a month at the site after the attacks, has died of World Trade Center related brain cancer
His wake will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 10:00am to noon, 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Flinch & Bruns Funeral Home, at 34 Hempstead Ave., in Lynbrook, NY.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at St. Raymond Church, in East Rockaway. His burial will follow at Saint Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
