Tunes for Toolie

May 13, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm

FF Joseph “Toolie” O’Toole (ret.) of 41 Truck was a beloved member of the FDNY and one of the hand-picked “ATV guys” at the recovery operation.

We lost Toolie in December from World Trade Center-related bile duct cancer at the age of 61.

Toolie’s kindness, his desire to help people, and his love of Irish music inspired Tunes for Toolie, which will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 2:00pm until 11:00pm at Gaelic Park in Toolie’s beloved Bronx.

A great line-up of Irish bands are already set for the event, including Bangers & Mash; Ireland -The Band; The Narrowbacks; the FDNY Emerald Society Pipes & Drums; Shilelagh Law; GiRSA; Mary G & the Shamrocks; Scor Na nOg; Gerard & Susan Corbett; Mickey Coleman; the Erin Loughran School of Irish Music; the Deirdre O’Mara School of Irish Dance; the GAA Children and Control Z. More musicians will be announced.

Tickets cost $20.00 and are available here.  All proceeds raised will be donated to the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation, an organization that helps good people in their direst need.
