9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Plaque Dedication for FF Daniel “Sam” Heglund, R-4

At 11:00am on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, a plaque dedication will be held at the quarters of Rescue 4 to honor the memory of Firefighter Daniel E. Heglund of Rescue 4.
FF Heglund died on September 22, 2014 of esophageal cancer contracted while working in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
