9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Adopt a geranium plant in Lower Manhattan

From 10:00am to 12:00pm on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, go to Bowling Green Park at Broadway & Whitehall Streets and pick up a free geranium. Since geraniums will not survive the winter, the park's officials dig up and give away geraniums every year.
