9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The annual Stephy’s Place Mourning Walk will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Registration begins at 6:00am. At 6:45am there will be a 5-minute meditation and the walk begins at 7:00am. Sherry E. Showalter, Ph.D., LCSW, BCD, M.Msc., died on November 23, 2022 at the age of 68. Dr. Showalter was a psychotherapist, working with hospices.
