Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Zoom lecture – Hate in the Homeland: The New Global Far Right

The next virtual lecture in the Friday Seminars at John Jay College’s Center on Terrorism will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. The speaker will be Dr. Cynthia Miller-Idriss, who will discuss her forthcoming book, Hate in the Homeland: The New Global Far Right.

Dr. Miller-Idriss studies extremism and youth radicalization. She is a professor and head of the Polarization and Extremism Research & Innovation Lab at American University. She is also connected with the UK’s Centre for Analysis of the Radical Right and the Center for Research on Extremism in Oslo.
