9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Write Holiday Cards for Veterans with Heartworks – Basking Ridge, NJ

Come to the Heartworks House on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, from 9:00am to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and spend some time in gratitude for our veterans this holiday season. There are men and women at the VA hospital who may not receive any cards this year. Heartworks hopes to change this.
All are welcome to stop in, have some snacks and write out as many cards as you would like – spend an hour or the whole day with Heartworks.
Heartworks was started by the sister-in-law of John W. Farrell, who was killed by terrorists in the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. This grassroots kindness foundation helps bereaved people cope, in gratitude for the people who helped the Farrells.
