Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. World Trade Center Health Program Seeks Nominees for the Scientific/Technical Advisory Committee

The World Trade Center Scientific/Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) is currently seeking nominations for 7 of its 17 positions in the following categories
two representatives for World Trade Center rescue and recovery workers;
two representatives for World Trade Center survivors;
one occupational physician with experience treating World Trade Center rescue and recovery workers;
one mental health professional and
one industrial hygienist.
The STAC advises the administrator of the World Trade Center Health Program and reviews evidence, eligibility criteria and research needs. STAC appointments could last up to 3 years.
Nominations are due by Friday, March 14, 2014. Nominations must include: Nominee’s contact information and current position; nominee’s resume; which category nominee is qualified for; a summary of the nominee’s suitability for the position; articles and documents authored by the nominee, and a statement that the nominee is aware of the nomination, willing to serve and has no known conflicts of interest. Self-nominations are accepted.
