Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. World Pancreatic Cancer Day is marked every year on November 16.
Pancreatic cancer is a very difficult illness to detect, making it a particularly deadly cancer.
There are some promising new results coming for early testing for pancreatic cancer, so it is important to raise awareness and fund more research into this disease that is affecting so many in the September 11th community.
