9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Need Volunteers for 9/11 National Day of Service
September 9, 2012 - September 15, 2012
Westchester County and the Volunteer Center of United Way are calling on those who live and work in Westchester to use volunteer service as a way to pay tribute to those whose lives were lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
In Westchester, volunteers can participate in a range of activities from Sunday, September 9, 2012 to Saturday, September 15, 2012 including blood drives; book and food drives; art projects; trail and park clean-ups; and veteran and military outreach.
