Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. A webinar entitled Guantanamo: Prospects for Closure will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 12:00pm ET. The event is cosponsored by the National Institute of Military Justice and the Center on National Security.
Featured speakers will be journalist Carol Rosenberg, and Ben Farley, a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Defense, Military Commissions Defense Organization.
The event will be moderated by Karen J. Greenberg, the director of the Center on National Security.
