Wake for active-duty PAPD Officer Scott Calandra

Active-duty Port Authority Police Officer Scott Calandra of the Port Newark/New Jersey Marine Terminals Command, died unexpectedly on April 6, 2021. He was 45.
He was appointed to the Port Authority Police Department on July 15, 2002, as a member of the PAPD 104th Academy Class. Prior to his appointment to the PAPD, Officer Calandra was a member of the New York City Police Department. In addition to his final command, he served in assignments at the PA Bus Terminal, Newark Airport, and the Staten Island Bridges Commands.
Scott is the grandson of Port Authority Police Officer James Calandra, who was killed in the line of duty on November 19, 1956.
His wake will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 2:00pm until 6:00pm with a religious service at 4:30pm at the S. Fryczynski and Son Funeral Home in Bayonne, NJ.
Graveside service and interment will take place at noon on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Bayville Cemetery.
