9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for Retired FDNY Firefighter and September 11th family member Raymond G. Walz

Retired FDNY Firefighter and September 11th family member Raymond G. Walz died on September 20, 2019 at the age of 87.
In addition to his service with the FDNY, he served in the United States Navy during Korean War.
His son, Lt. Jeffrey P. Walz, FDNY, was killed while responding to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
The wake will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, at the Harmon Funeral Home in West Brighton.
The funeral will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 23, 2019 from the funeral home. Interment will be in Moravian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation.
