9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for NYPD Detective Stanley Dash

NYPD Detective Stanley Dash, 57, who served New York City for more than 30 years, has died of COVID-19. Detective Dash spent the past 8½ years on the 6th Precinct’s detective squad in the Village. Before that, he was a member of the 17th Precinct Anti-Crime Unit in East Midtown.
Detective Dash was also a U.S. Army veteran.
His wake will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at the Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn.
His funeral will be held at the Church at 1:00pm on Friday, June 4, 2021.
