9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for NYPD Detective Andrew Prendergast

Detective Andrew Prendergast of the NYPD Chief of Department’s Office died on October 14, 2017.
His wake will be held at Torregrossa and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm.
His funeral will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Brooklyn’s Christian Cultural Center. There will be a viewing there from 9:30am until 11:00am, when the funeral service will begin.
Burial immediately to follow at Carnarsie Cemetery.
