9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for FF Michael Hallquest

FF Michael Hallquest died of a brain tumor on January 2, 2018. He joined the FDNY in 2005 and was a member of the Elmurst Eagles E-287/L-136/Bn-46.
His wake will be held at the Whitting Funeral Home in Glen Head on Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The Firematics services will be held from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
FF Hallquest’s funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 9:45am at St. Boniface Church in Sea Cliff.
Burial at Locust Valley Cemetery will follow the Mass.
